  Research interests:
Higher education leadership, governance,   and policy; gender and development; STEM Education, Anti-poverty and   development of women and children.

Dr. Xin-hong   Wang is a professor of school of public policy and administration, Xi’an   Jiaotong University of China. Her bachelor degree is Engineering, so prior to   join to XJTU, she had worked as a professional engineer in industry   institutes for ten years. Then she pursued her M.D and Ph.D degree, and started   her academic experience on 2002. Her research interests are higher education administration,   STEM education, gender and development but not limited to these. She also has   a very broadly interesting in interdisciplinary fields, such as Triple Helix   in HE Governance, campus security and social risk, anti-poverty and   development of women and children, etc. She has worked in a leader or main   participant position for a series of projects funded by national government,   Ministry of Education, local government, and international joint projects,   (EU-China). She is visiting scholar of University of Pittsburgh (Dec2010-Dec2011,   Feb2017-Feb2018), of USA, University of Tampere of Finland( Aug to Sept,   2015), and Chinese University of Hong Kong(Jan, 2007), China.
