专家简介：陈帅，北京大学博士，浙江大学长聘教授、博士生导师。任教于浙江大学中国农村发展研究院(卡特)、浙江大学公共管理学院农经系，担任浙江大学农业与农村发展研究所副所长、农经系副系主任。讲授计量经济学、资源与环境经济学和农业经济学研究方法论等课程。研究领域是农业经济学、资源与环境经济学和发展经济学，聚焦气候变化与中国农业、空气污染的社会经济影响等议题。在Journal of Development Economics、Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economics、Journal of Environmental Economics and Management、Journal of Economic Geography和《经济学（季刊）》等国内外知名期刊发表学术论文，主持浙江省杰出青年科学基金、教育部人文社科重点研究基地重大项目和国家自科基金等科研项目。获教育部人才奖励计划青年学者（2022）、浙江大学“仲英青年学者”（2021）、“中国青年农业经济学家年度学者”（2020）等奖励。

讲座内容简介：We use a 20-year dataset to uncover two nonlinear relationships between climate change and rural migration. First, rural migration responds nonlinearly to temperature, showing a 12.7% increase in outflow for each growing degree day above 31°C, while other temperature ranges have minimal impact. Second, at least five days of extreme heat are needed to trigger this costly adaptation measure. Further analyses indicate that climate-induced migrants are seeking economic relief as they prefer relocating to urban areas within their home counties, especially when wage gaps are large. We further confirm farming adaptation largely alleviate the impact of climate change on migration.
